2022 UNCF Mayors’ Masked Ball – Hampton Roads
UNCF (United Negro College Fund) and Hampton Roads Virginia Mayors will host the 5th annual Hampton Roads Mayors’ Masked Ball on Saturday, March 12, 2021 at the Hampton Roads Convention Center, Hampton, Virginia.
The event will be chaired by AAU Ambassador Marcellus “Boo” Williams and Primis Bank Area Manager, Sonya Daniels. Guests will enjoy a masked reception, gourmet cuisine, red carpet photo opportunities, a paddle raise, silent auction, an HBCU charge with a special recognition of the 2022 UNCF Masked Award Honorees and more. The Hampton Roads Mayors’ Masked Ball 2021 enabled UNCF Virginia to provide more than $1.3 M in scholarships in the 2020-2021 academic year to deserving Virginia students.
The UNCF Mayors’ Masked Ball is one of the organization’s signature fundraising galas and premier social events of the year. Hosted by a diverse group of corporate sponsors and individuals, it involves celebrities, dignitaries and more than 500 business, civic and education leaders, alumni and others who support UNCF’s mission of investing in America’s future by getting students to and through college.
Last year’s UNCF Mayors’ Masked Ball generated a record $300 thousand helping to get students to and through school. Corporations and community groups are invited to support the fundraising event with the purchase of sponsor packages ranging from $2,000 – $25,000. The sponsor package benefits include the opportunity to attend our VIP sponsor reception, pre-event red carpet photo opportunities with the host mayors, brand recognition in select print, electronic media advertising and more!
